I grew up in the Tallahassee and Crawfordville area. I graduated from Wakulla High School and have attended TCC and FAU for a business degree. I also Attended Aveda Institute to learn Massage Therapy. One of my favorite past times is weight training, which I have become passionate about over the past few years. This has sparked my interest in body work and I graduated top of my class at Aveda. I have worked on developing my skills in Sports and Orthopedic Massage to better assist my patients with their care. In the long term, I am pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy.
I am originally from Sterling, VA and my early childhood had a heavy emphasis on sports and physical activity. As a two sport varsity athlete in high school, an appreciation for peak fitness levels was developed at a young age. As a member of the Boy Scouts of America, my love and respect for the outdoors was cultivated.
After high school, I pursued a degree in sports marketing at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina. Unsatisfied with that career path, I eventually traveled to Tallahassee where I discovered my interest in massage therapy. While attending the Core Institute, I did an internship with the FSU football team where my love for sports massage truly came alive. Since graduating massage therapy school I have worked with several athletic teams at FSU while I pursue my goal to become a massage therapist with a professional sports team.
